Get ready for an unforgettable Everglades experience in the greater Everglades region. Whether you are booking an airboat tour, joining a group outing, planning a private experience, or adding an animal encounter, a little preparation helps make your visit smoother from the moment you arrive.
Guests can enjoy covered boats, open wetland views, wildlife focused scenery, educational alligator presentations, and one free group photo per party with eligible tour experiences. The Everglades is an outdoor environment, so weather, water levels, and wildlife activity can change from day to day. That natural variety is part of what makes every visit different.
Before you arrive, review your booking details, dress comfortably for the weather, and allow enough time for check in, parking, photos, the airboat tour, and any additional experiences included with your visit. Sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and a camera are always a good idea.

Everglades Holiday Park is located at the western end of Griffin Road and is easily accessible from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Hollywood, West Palm Beach, and other South Florida destinations.
Driving directions
Take I-95 or the Florida Turnpike to I-595 West. Continue west on I-595 to I-75 South. Take Exit 13B for Griffin Road West and follow Griffin Road until it ends at Everglades Holiday Park.
Guests traveling from northern areas may also take the Sawgrass Expressway south to I-75 before exiting at Griffin Road West.

We are open seven days a week, 365 days a year, rain or shine.
The park opens at 9:00 AM. Because all airboats must return to the dock before dark, the final departure time changes seasonally.
- Spring and summer: The final airboat tour generally departs at 5:00 PM.
- Fall and winter: The final airboat tour generally departs at 4:00 PM.
Please check the current hours before traveling to the park, as closing times may change based on daylight and seasonal conditions.
Airboat tours are approximately 60 minutes long and generally depart every 20 minutes or less.
When to Arrive
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow enough time for parking, check-in, and boarding.
For the final tour of the day:
- Arrive no later than 4:30 PM when the last tour departs at 5:00 PM.
- Arrive no later than 3:30 PM when the last tour departs at 4:00 PM.
Guests who arrive late may need to move to another departure, subject to availability. Guests arriving after the final check-in time may not be able to complete the full tour experience.

Deli & Gift Shop
Open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rain or shine.
Guests can stop by for food, refreshments, and Everglades souvenirs before or after their experience.
Bait & Tackle Shop And General Store
Open seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Jon Boat Rentals
Available seven days a week from first safe light until 5:00 PM.
Availability may change based on weather, water conditions, and other safety considerations
Parking & Check-in
Parking is available onsite.
Allow enough time to park and walk to the check-in area before your scheduled departure. We recommend keeping valuables with you and not leaving personal belongings visible inside your vehicle.
Guests who purchase tickets online should bring:
- Their booking confirmation
- The credit card matching the final four digits of the card used for the purchase
- A matching driver’s license or valid photo ID

Important Safety Information
For the safety of all guests:
- Follow all instructions from captains and park staff.
- Remain seated while the airboat is moving.
- Keep your arms, legs, and personal belongings inside the boat.
- Supervise children throughout your visit.
- Do not feed, touch, or approach wild animals.
- Secure loose belongings before departure.
- Inform the team of any mobility, medical, or safety concerns before boarding.
Guests who appear impaired or do not follow safety instructions may be denied participation.
